| I will still be playing this. I need large blocks of time to sit down and play it though, which for me aren't too often these days. This isn't one of those games where you can fire it up, play for 45 minutes then shut down. I love the game though! | |

| Well so far im wicked good at leveling up. Bought a crap load of iron inglots and leather strips and just worked the smithing. Im going to be super selective where I put my points. I sort of wasted a few last game. | |

| honestly aster looking back on my last game and seeinf how hard it is it level up in the 50s i can see how much better I could have made my player if I would have been more selective. I probably only wasted 4-5 per points, but now at at the higher levels I can see the difference. Having said that nothing in the game present any sort of challenge what so ever.
I hope we get some significant DLC.

I hope we get some significant DLC. I'm level 12 right now, with 2 points saved up. Can you guys give me some idea what the most important ones to spend points on are? I've been spreading them out a bit and don't want to end up wasting any.

| what's your enchanting look like?
start pumping points into enchanting to make more powerful weapons. add points until you have 5/5 on the first star and go up the middle line only as you work your way up to the 2 enchantments on an item star.
also, the first star for alchemy is a good one too since you can boost enchantments with alchemy and vice versa to create some seriously powerful weapons.

| Enchanting is at zero I think. I think I dumped two points into smithing though... not sure. I'll have to check tonight. | |

| pump your points into smithing, enchanting and alchemy if you want to create some epic weapons. my daedric death bow deals nearly 400 damage when i have my enchanted armor and rings on. | |

| I finally started playing this weekend. Based on the sheer scope of the game, I can see myself not finishing until July.
I'm playing as a High Elf. What skills should I be focusing on?

| What ever you like best... But pay attention to the perks. Because many of them are worthless. What ever kind of combat you like best, start dumping points into those skill perks. And the hard level cap is 81 so you shouldn't have to worry about maxing out since once you hit level 50 it takes about 10-15 hours to level up.
Have fun and welcome to arrow in the knee jokes!

| Are any of the merchant perks worth the points? I was selling some stuff to a merchant last night and she ran out of gold. | |

| no. if they run out of gold, just do two 24 hour wait cycles.
also, as you do the thieves guild quests, you'll meet fences who carry 4000 gold to trade with you.

| level 38 and I still run into a few lighting casting buggers that destroy me. Still, I'm fairing much better than I did previously. If I'm having a hard time managing an enemy, I'll just freeze form his a$$ and recover. | |

| I have m deadric bow at 449 damage plus 42 Fire & 42 Frost damage to health and Stamina. I have 4 pieces of apparel that give 28% smithing bonus each, and I can make a alchemy smith enchant potion which gives 81% bonus for 60 seconds. I think I used a 25% enchanted bonus potion when I enchanted it but I cant remember. I do have enchanting at 100 though with all the points maxed. | |
