ive been playing it. Maybe its that fact that I already have 137 hours logged into this game, or maybe its because my archer is so powerful nothing has a chance, or maybe its that my guy literally doesnt level any more, but to me the DLC has bee sorta Meh. Not enough new creatures to kill, no new weapons aside from a cross bow with is ok i guess. I do like how you can finally make arrows, but I think that is just an update and not part of the DLC.

I've been digging it, but I think it's largely because it's served as the reason for me getting back into Skyrim. I've only got 90+ hours in the game and still a lot of unfinished original content. My archery level is only 64. My overall level is only 39.

Digging the crossbows. Went with Dawnguard instead of the Vampires (after trying vampires first and thought it was kind of lame). Hope the next round of DLC offers a bit more. This one is very middle of the road.

As you move, Dawnguard gets more intense. Lots of cool stuff in here. Be careful if there are NPC's you don't want dying though. Vampires appear in town at night and start killing people. I got a note from a courier that a blacksmith I like had died and I was inheriting 100 gold from her will. Reloaded an older save. Mysterious travelers in town at night will mess things up!!

I've added 22 hours of playtime since downloading Dawnguard. Worth the $20 for me right there.

cheers

sounds like i'll need to get back in the game...

the last thing i did before i stopped played was get married, put my bow on a plague above the bed, and sit down at the table.

saved and quit.

coming out of retirement will be great!

Still no word when this will be released for PS3 and PC. It hasn't even been announced that there will be a PC or PS3 version. confused

Finished Dawnguard a week ago. Really, really good. All in all, I put another 20+ hours into the game and will most likely jump back in at some point. Best part of the DLC is the new weapons!

my character is a chick. queen

i usually make a chick in rpg's for the unique opposite sex dialogue and 10-15% opposite sex damage bonus.

queen

From Gamespot:

Quote :
The first expansion for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the vampire-themed Dawnguard, launched on June 26 for the Xbox 360. Now that Microsoft's one-month exclusivity is up, when will the content come to the PlayStation 3 and PC? According to Bethesda, eager gamers will learn its arrival date by the end of the week.

The news comes from Bethesda's vice president of PR and marketing Pete Hines, who said over Twitter this morning that "nothing has been said/announced about it. We should have info later this week."

http://www.bethblog.com/2012/08/02/dawnguard-ps3-update/

Quote :
We are not satisfied yet with Dawnguard’s performance on the PS3. We would like for everyone to have a chance to play Dawnguard, but we aren’t going to release it for PS3 knowing that some people’s experience in Skyrim will be worse. We do everything we can to have our content available to all; from our free updates, to user mods, to paid DLC. We’re as disappointed as our fans when that isn’t the case, but we’ll continue to push for that reality.

lulz

y u suck so bad on ps3 bethesda?

guess I should get an xbox or capable pc before playing all these bethesda games i'm LTTP on.

or, who cares...

i dropped 200+ hours into the game. i'm satisfied with the experience i had with it. i don't need any dlc to make it better because it was already damn good.

(I was being facetious, the DLC for Borderlands was (in general) awesome. Especially the zombie one. I always think more of a good thing is a... good thing... )
