Destiny

I love my Warlock. I sit in the back with my pulse and fusion rifle and shoot at faceplates. If you hit an enemy square in the faceplate, they'll usually drop like a sack of potatoes. Obviously these are the lower HP guys, but it's a much faster way to deal with enemies.

I don't think I've played a semi-open world or open world game yet without repetitive mission structures.

I'd love to be surprised, but that’s something that always stays the same.

I'm not far in yet, but so far the only semi-complaints are the plot/story being your normal good/evil boilerplate and The Imp phoning in his grantedly terribly written dialogue.

Same issue here, except my problem was I forgot to check inside the box for my Vanguard pre-order bonus code. I didn't realize it until after a few "restore license" attempts. Felt reeeaal sharp after that one..

No joy for me on my preorder vanguard stuff psn says I got it but nothing shows up

re-download on PC store. Restore licenses through options > PSN > restore licenses

Played last night for the first time. Besides the awesome environment rendering it's just another shooter. Got annoyed since I couldn't get off the stupid Guardians home after I made it through the introductory level. I hate games sometimes

I did not play last night. I worked instead.

I need to get my rank-up on.

I like the idea of the world changing (new characters, planets, events showing up). It should help keep the game interesting.

I'm still trying to figure out the Vanguard Armory stuff too. I've installed it and reloaded licenses but I'm still not sure what to do. I just re-downloaded via PC. And I just Googled and learned where the Vanguard merchant is. From the tower spawn go right towards the hanger (where you buy ships), talk to the Vanguard merchant, a robot-looking dude.

I also learned the Vanguard Armory bonus gives you access to a set of uncommon (green) weapons/armor at level 5 and level 10. I'm already past the level 5 stuff but I'm coming up on level 10.

I'm still getting that Strict NAT error message every time I start Destiny. I don't know whether it's causing any real problems because I've been able to co-op with people. It's just an annoying message.

My PS4 has a wired Ethernet connection and a static IP. I also believe I've configured the router to open all the ports I'm supposed to. When I check my Internet connection from the PS4 settings, it says I have a NAT Type 2. So I don't know why I'm getting the error.

There are some other people on the Destiny forums experiencing the same thing.

kkrambo, I'm pretty sure the Vanguard stuff was a pre-order bonus. Any chance you bought after release?

May be just another shooter, but it sure is fun.

On Bungie.net under the Grimoire there is a places card. Here is shows there's a few more locations. Are Jupiter and Saturn part of the upcoming DLC?

I'd bet so.  They had concept art for Io and Mercury as well.

Plug in DLC would probably work very well with the structure of this game and online persistence.

ISP issue maybe? If the PS4 is NAT2 you're 90% in the clear, and opening the suggest ports is really all that's left to try.

Maybe try changing your DNS in both the router and PS4 to Google or Open DNS? Also, make sure you're using manual connection setup in the PS4 and putting in the hard IP, as I think automatic might try to pull one from your dynamic range. Other than that, beats me.

Ok, maybe I didn't get that either? I got a bunch of stuff from the first two merchants on the left when you spawn into the tower (postmaster and the one on the other side of her). Thought that was it, but guess not?

Might help for a second character, but I'm probably past the level where that gear would help.

That's unfortunate. I'm having a great time. I just completed the last Moon mission, The Summoning Pits. Intense!

Anyone around tonight that is part of the clan and wants to go for the Strike trophies?  3 clan member beating sepkis prime together is one, the other is no one dying on the strike.

Probably best for level 13's+, as it was pretty hard even as a level 9.
