Makes sense to me. I'm holding off because there's a 99.9% chance GTA5 gets a PS4 release and gets a preformance boost in the process. Dark Souls II? I know the publisher wants to make it into something larger than it already is, but it's a small- medium scale game in comparison and the likeyhood of a next gen port is much, much less than GTA.

Theres no question GTA5 will be on PS4. DkSII? I'd say chances are it won't make the jump.

So I'm buying accordingly.

Pre-ordered that ridiculously overpriced collector's edition, but I'll be displaying my figurine prominently in my living room to triumph my nerdiness.  Toad... while I'm disappointed I won't be frantically trying to keep pace with you to avoid falling behind your soul level in this new iteration, I think you may have a point.  On the other hand, I know I personally will be reverting back to the PS3 plenty with so many games left unplayed already, dropping prices for those games, and the PS4 library obviously having far fewer games for a good while.  I haven't seen much that actual piques my interest.  BF4 and... well... anything from Housemarque.

You make an excellent point, Benjamins. I'll probably pick it up, but no need to pre order right now.

BUT, I'm shocked to hear nothing other than BF4 piques your interest. Go ahead and edit your previous post with the day one FREE Housemarque title- Resogun. It's what I'm most excited for.

Got a PSN message from Namco telling me I have access to the first round of beta testing of DkSII. Wonder if it's cause of all the hours I put into DkS? I didn't sign up for this at all or link anything.

I just can't wait! I doubt there's any way this game could be a disappointment for me. Broken online? Whatever... As long as it's in the DS world I'll eat it up. From Software is fantastic.

They're going back to dedicated servers. Hopefully they fixed covenants, but at the least the lag should be better and the messages/perks to putting one down might actually work.
